Most homes are apartments inside high-rise towers, most residents are working families, and a large share of moves are either people arriving from Dubai for more space at the same rent, or people leaving Al Nahda for a shorter commute.
That means two things for the move itself. The lift and the loading bay decide your timeline more than the distance does. And the truck usually has to be booked around building rules rather than around traffic.

What makes a tower move in Al Nahda different
A villa move is limited by how much you own. A tower move in Al Nahda is limited by how much you can move through the building in one booking. These are the constraints we plan around here.
The service lift is the bottleneck
Al Nahda is built vertically. Sahara Towers alone is a six-building complex, and Al Nahda Complex Towers, Al Nada Tower and Andalusia Tower are all large residential blocks where every move, delivery and maintenance job shares the same service lift. Moving through the passenger lifts is not an option.
Buildings here may require you to book a lift slot in advance and release it for a set window. We confirm your building’s requirements before moving day and plan the load order around the approved slot — the large, awkward items first while the lift is guaranteed, boxes after. If your slot is short, we bring a larger crew rather than stretching the day.
Building NOC and deposits
Requirements vary, but some Al Nahda buildings ask for a No Objection Certificate before a moving crew can start, and may hold a refundable deposit against lift or corridor damage.
The NOC is issued by your building management to you as the resident. We can provide the company information the application asks for — our trade licence, truck plate numbers and crew details. Tell us your building and we will send those across so you are not chasing them the day before.
Timing restrictions
Moving hours vary by building, and some do not allow moves on Fridays or public holidays. This is the most common reason a move gets pushed to another day. Check your building’s permitted hours before fixing the date with us, and tell us the window you are given — we build the crew size and the truck around it.
Loading access and parking
Al Nahda’s towers were built for residents, not for trucks. Loading bays are small, and along the busier stretches near Sahara Centre and Al Nahda Park the truck often cannot park at the entrance. Our crews carry to the truck rather than expecting the truck to reach the door. We measure that carry distance at the survey, so it is priced in from the start rather than added later.
Narrow corridors and door frames
Three-seater sofas, wardrobes and large mattresses are the items that get stuck — not the fragile ones. At the survey we check whether anything needs to come apart to leave the apartment. If it does, we dismantle it, protect it, and put it back together at your new home.

What changes the price
We do not publish a fixed rate, because two flats on the same floor can be very different jobs. These are the things that actually move the number.

Moving between Al Nahda and Dubai
A large share of Al Nahda moves cross the emirate border, so it is worth saying what actually changes.
Timing matters most. Al Nahda sits on the main Sharjah–Dubai commuter corridor, and a truck that leaves at the wrong hour can lose more time on the road than it spends loading. We plan cross-border moves to load early and cross outside the busiest period, where your building’s window allows. Depending on the route into Dubai there may also be a toll crossing — we factor that into the quote rather than adding it afterwards.
The building at the other end matters too. Dubai towers have their own NOC and lift rules, which can differ from the building you are leaving. You may need to clear the move with both buildings, not just the one you are leaving. Give us both addresses at survey stage and we will tell you which end is likely to set the schedule.
