A two-bedroom flat holds more than it looks like it does, and most of the damage that happens on moving day happens because something was wrapped badly, not because it was dropped. We pack as a service on its own, or as part of a move you have already booked with us. What we pack, room by room
Kitchen
The slowest room in any flat. Plates and glasses go into dish barrels with dividers rather than loose into a box, pans and small appliances get boxed by type, and anything open — oil, spices, cleaning liquid — is sealed or left out of the load, because a leak in transit ruins a whole box. Fridges are emptied and defrosted before the move; we can disconnect and reconnect them.
Wardrobes and clothing
Hanging clothes go into wardrobe boxes with a rail, so they arrive on their hangers and go straight into the new wardrobe. Folded clothes stay in their drawers where the drawers travel safely, or go into boxes where they do not. Shoes and bags are boxed separately.
Glass, mirrors and art
Mirrors, glass table tops, framed pictures and TV screens are corner-protected, wrapped and carried flat in purpose-made boxes. These are the items most often damaged in self-moves and they are the ones we are slowest and most careful with.
Electronics
TVs, computers, routers and consoles are wrapped and boxed with their cables. If you still have the original boxes, we use them — nothing protects a screen better than the box it came in.
Bedrooms and living room
Beds and wardrobes are dismantled, their screws and fittings bagged and taped to the frame so nothing goes missing. Sofas and mattresses are covered. Lamps, books, decorations and the contents of cupboards are boxed and labelled by room.
Documents and valuables
Passports, jewellery, cash and documents should travel with you, not in the truck. We will say so on the survey and we will not pack them unless you ask us to.
What we pack with
Carton boxes in several sizes, dish barrels with dividers, wardrobe boxes with a rail, bubble wrap, stretch wrap, packing paper, corner protectors, mattress and sofa covers, and tape. We bring the material with us — you do not need to buy anything or collect boxes in advance. When the job is done we take the empty cartons and wrapping away with us.
Full packing or part packing
You do not have to choose all or nothing.

Most people book part packing: the kitchen and the breakables to us, the clothes and books to themselves. Tell us on the survey which rooms you want covered and we will price it that way.
When the packing happens
For an apartment, packing and moving usually happen on the same day. The crew arrives in the morning, packs, loads, and you are in the new place that evening.
For a villa with full packing it is normally two days — we pack on the first day and move on the second. A large house holds too much to pack and load well in one go, and rushing it is how things get broken. We will tell you which one your move is after the survey, not after we arrive.
If you need the packing done on a particular day because of handover or lease dates, say so early. Month-end and the last few days before a lease expires are the busiest times.
What packing costs depends on
We do not publish a price list, because a studio with a packed kitchen and a four-bedroom villa with a china cabinet are not the same job. We agree the price with you after the survey and before anything is booked. These are the things that move it:

Packing questions
Can you pack without doing the move?
Yes. Some people move with a company already booked, or are shipping abroad, and only want the packing done properly. We will do the packing on its own.
Do I need to buy boxes?
No. We bring all the material and take the empties away afterwards.
How long does packing a two-bedroom flat take?
Usually most of a morning with a full crew, longer if the kitchen is heavily stocked or there is a lot of glass. We will give you a realistic figure after the survey rather than a number over the phone.
Will the boxes be labelled?
Yes, by room. That is also why the same crew unpacks — they know which box went into which room.
Can you unpack as well?
Yes. Tell us before the move so the crew plans for it, because unpacking a full flat adds hours to the day.
What happens if something breaks?
If the damage was caused by our handling, we take responsibility for it. Insurance is available on request if you want the move covered formally — ask before the booking, not after.
Do you pack a fridge or washing machine?
We disconnect them, secure them for transport and set them back in place at the other end. Fridges should be emptied and defrosted the night before.
Do you pack for moves outside Dubai?
Yes. We are based in Sharjah and pack across Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. See movers in Sharjah if that is your emirate.
What if the new place is not ready yet?
We can pack, move and hold your things in storage until it is, then deliver when you are ready.
